Peace wants a piece of the Pie - Mother's Day National Action
May 11th, 2008 - Manchester / Concord, NH

Mothers Day 08 Peace Pie Delivery In conjunction with the national action of pie delivery to the Congressional offices in Washington, DC, the NH steering team delivered four home-business baked pies to our local state offices in Manchester and Concord.

We met with administrators from the offices of Senator Sununu, Senator Gregg, Representative Shea-Porter and Representative Hodes.

(None of our congressmen/women currently support the Department of Peace and Nonviolence.)

Mothers Day 08 Peace Pie - NH State Capitol The purpose of these meetings was to share the delicious goodwill of the pies along with the persistent presence of Peace's request for a slice of the Federal discretionary budget. A small percentage of funding toward this end would aid in supporting the shift towards nonviolence as a guiding principle of our society. We continually encourage our leader's support.

We offer our gratitude to Earthlings Baked Goods (tastes from around our world) for their kind donation of scrumptious pies. I encourage you to visit their website at EarthlingsBakedGoods.com to see what this conscious family business has to offer.

And Enjoy!
